Excessive sweating in the armpits is a cosmetic problem for those who suffer with it. It's caused by increased activity of sweat glands in the skin of the armpits, palms, scalp and sometimes other body areas.

This cosmetic problem can be treated effectively by antiqrinkle injections. Small doses are injected into the skin blocking nerve supply to the apocrine sweat glands and preventing the glands from producing sweat in excessive amounts. 

This cosmetic treatment does not cure the problem but provides temporary effect and it is advisable to be repeated every five to six months for maximum effect.
